This is a recipe from a cooking class I took with my mom and sisters about ten years ago. It's a cold soup...and perfect for strawberry season! The picture is of the recipe doubled. Kids AND adults love this!
6-8 servings:
1 quart fresh strawberries, cleaned and hulled
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup half and half
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
-Blend all ingredients until smooth. Chill seveal hours or overnight. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices. Note: You can use 1 cup vanilla yogurt in place of the plain yogurt and sugar.
